About the Author

Hello from the two queer sisters behind the pseudonym Thalia Hadwyn! We’re both currently pursuing university degrees relating to medicine and science: the younger of us (Sister That on our blog) is currently pursuing a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ottawa. The older sister (Sister This) is a graduate student completing a Master’s degree in biomedical research at the University of British Columbia.

We started writing The Ordained Trilogy as a way to nerd out over a new discipline of science we created for the world: chronology, the study of time. Over the years, it turned into a coping mechanism for our way of coping with and processing the rapidly declining state of the world’s political landscape.

Outside of whiling the hours away in the lab and writing about a character whiling her hours away in a lab, we love music (we wrote a song for guitar and voice as a sort of fan-fiction for one of the characters and her girlfriend), going for grumpy runs together, and, perhaps most of all, spending time with our only slightly concerning number of cats! (Five in case you were wondering)
